The City of Brewer is seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual to join the professional staff of the Brewer Finance Department as Accounting Clerk. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, be detail oriented, and computer proficient.

The duties of this position include weekly accounts payable processing; reconciling bank accounts; serving as backup to the Tax Office; and providing general office support. Familiarity with accounting practices, spreadsheets, online banking, and Munis accounting software desirable.
